Daily Sync is finally here!

The team at LanternPay is committed to delivering the future to you today – and our daily sync feature is our latest step towards this.

As of this month, we’re automatically synchronising every plan for every participant twice a day, every morning and afternoon! Plan details will now be reflected in LanternPay within 24 hours of the changes appearing in the NDIS portal, meaning you no longer need to request a plan sync from LanternPay.

Undoubtedly, this is a key and revolutionary update, especially when it comes to keeping states and participant portals in sync with PRODA. Other benefits include:

  • Increased accuracy
  • Better reporting
  • Reduced claim discrepancies and exceptions
  • A more streamline workflow and less time trying to manage accuracy, reporting and discrepancies

Previously, Plans would be only be updated when the plan manager requested one. We understood that this caused significant friction, especially when plans are updated wholesale (e.g. increasing budgets for COVID or CPI increases). But with our new daily sync, you don’t have to wait for these updates... they just happen!

What do you need to do with this change?

  • Only use the button for urgent issues or tasks, not plan sync events.
  • If a budget change can wait, wait for the auto-sync.
  • If a Plan isn’t updating in sync with PRODA, lodge a Ticket.
